Embrace / Robert Mapplethorpe Hoodie Black

Black hoodie with print at front, and big patch at back. The graphic on it was made by famous American artist Robert Mapplethorpe. Titled „Embrace” comes from the XX century. He received his first polaroid camera in 1970 from artist and filmmaker Sandy Daley. His art was to challenge and adhere to classic aesthetic standards, as Mapplethorpe himself says they were to look for the unexpected. The main subjects of his photographs were black and white portraits, flowers, and male and female nudes. His art is considered astonishing and is being preserved in major museums all across the globe. His legacy lives through Robert Mapplethorpe Foundation which was established in 1988 to promote photography, support museums that exhibit photographic art, and fund medical research in the fight against HIV/AIDS.

Made in EU. Composition: 90% cotton, 10% polyester
